The Full Story
About
This collection is called "Cruel & Love" A/W 2022 Avant Garde. This collection is inspired from a movie known as "The Pianist". The Pianist is a war film that tells the heart-wrenching story of the acclaimed Polish Jewish musician Wladyslaw Szpilman.
Inspiration
As an underground party member said in the film, "It's harder to live than to die." In this film, we have clearly see the good and evil of human nature. Some people exploit Spzillman to get money but some people save him without return. German officer also help him without care about his nationality.
Family members depend on each other. As we know, the war is cruel, no one can stay out, and death happens all the time. After the death of Szpilman family, he still lives firmly. The piano is a beautiful thing but in that time is not allowed to exist.
Expression
" The insignificance of life in war, so we long for peace in order to live."
War is cruel and destructive as well as caused many tragedies.
Love is especially important and touching in war.
